About the author (2007)

Mathew Forstater is Associate Professor of Economics and Black Studies, and Director of the Center for Full Employment and Price Stability, Department of Economics, University of Missouri-Kansas City. Previously a visiting scholar at the Jerome Levy Economics Institute of Bard College he has taught at Bard and Gettysburg College and remains a research associate with the Levy Economics Institute of Bard College. He has been published widely on political economy and the history of academic thought in a range of academic journals.
