This is one of the more "wicked" Stephen King books. Less supernatural, more gore. My favorite is still The Stand and It, but this one is pretty good. My least favorite is Insomnia. That was an aberration in an otherwise amazing writing career. Read full review

What an awesome book. King understands and describes so well the nature and psychology of evil and darkness. If you want to read a story instead of a textbook on evil, suffering, and if God exists (and if he does, what is his nature), I highly recommend it. Read full review
