Review: The Wanderer

Editorial Review - Bookreporter.com - Tamara Penny

This book is really good for younger soles and for the parents to read out loud from 7-10. Your child will love the book if they are 5th graders who love adventures and nature and ships. This is realistic fiction. This is really a wonderful book and I hope you like it to as much as I did.

A lovely book, written in the form of journals by Sophie and Cody. You really do grow to love Sophie and Cody, and gosh, even the adults earn some respect by the book's end. The book has some frightening moments and some sadness, but a tear rolled down my face at a moment of joy -- when Sophie suddenly realizes she is part of the family. Not up to the power and tragedy of 'Walk Two Moons,' but an absorbing read.

The feelings everyone on the boat has really make you think, and it is really fun to picture everything that is described. You can picture everything!
