About the author (2005)

Suzanne Rowan Kelleher is a freelance travel writer and the former Europe Editor of Travel Holiday magazine. Her work has appeared in many publications, including Arthur Frommer’s Budget Travel, Cigar Aficionado, Esquire, Four Seasons, and Newsweek. In addition, she is a frequent host of online chats about Ireland for MSNBC.com’s travel website. She has recently repatriated to the U.S. after having lived in Ireland and traveled extensively there for years.
