Includes a foreword by Alan Paton and a glossary. TB Wongar' is the pseudonym of Streten Bozic, a Yogoslav who came to Australia in the early 1960s and married into an Aboriginal tribe a few years later.

About the author (1992)

Born Streten Bozic in a small Serbian village, Wongar came to Australia after WWII as an immigrant and worked on the Snowy River Dam. He then went to the outback and lived with an Aboriginal tribe, married one of them, and began writing fiction.
