Nate's deeply personal story of addiction and deliverance is moving and inspiring. I have found help and hope from this book and have become a Pirate Monk myself. I recommend it to all who struggle with addictions and those close to those who do. Read full review

An excellent book that addresses the issue that so many churches face today. A must read for any true man!

It is about time that the church take their fingers out of their ears and stop hoping that this will just go away. There is a path to freedom but it is only through an authentic, transparent relationship with Christ and His followers. It is only when you face the reality that Christ died for sinners and I am chief among them that we can truly begin a life of surrender.

Great book! Nate Larkin speaks about the importance of male community. Men need to seek out other men for accountability and to challenge each other to grow up and stay focussed on Jesus. Lots of personal stories and overall a good read. Read full review
