One of the best programming books ever written. The examples are easy to follow, the writing is easy to understand - it makes java your new best friend.

I understand from a friend that this author is extremely convoluted and hard to follow. In addition, there is an error in his selection sort example (an algorithm which any competent coder should be able to produce correctly). As someone who has looked through quite a few books on coding, this is one of the worst. Not recommended for new or experienced readers.
