About the author (2012)

Dr Peter Pedersen is Head of the Research Centre at the Australian War Memorial and one of Australia's leading military historians. He has written seven books on Australia in the First World War and led many battlefield tours to the Western Front. He was magnificently assisted in the preparation of this guide by Brigadier Chris Roberts AM, CSC (Retd).
