One for the koala - quick, He's nearly fast asleep!/Two for the kangaroo and her joey snuggled deep The animals are being kissed by butterflies, who increase in number, one by one, spread by spread, so the book has a cumulative counting element from 1-10. About the author (2012)

Karen Hull is a fulltime artist / illustrator, and an exhibiting member of the Australian Society of Miniature Art (NSW). For many years a career in nursing, and raising a family of four wonderful boys with husband Stephen took up much of her time and energy, but with her family now older, she has been able to follow her passion for art and realise her dream to work at art on a fulltime basis. Karen has already won several awards including Best in Show and Best Watercolour at the 2007 Australian Society of Miniature Art (NSW) National Awards Exhibition and Best Oil Painting at the 2008 ASMA National Awards Exhibition. Whilst she works in a range of mediums, she specialises in realism in coloured pencil on a range of surfaces, including wood and drafting film.
