2010-2011 Environmental Science student:
This was overall more of a textbook than a story. While pointing out some interesting facts, it failed to keep my attention throughout what was a very long 200 pages. I did find some illustrations cool and they did help paint a picture, but I really did not enjoy reading this book. That being said, I think it was worth reading the book in the end just because I learned some very important things about the environment and about what needs to be done. So while I don't recommend this book I feel that topics it discussed were very important and worth reading for the class.
