About the author (2012)

In the course of her career Nicole Alexander has worked both in Australia and Singapore in financial services, fashion, corporate publishing and agriculture. A fourth-generation grazier, Nicole returned to her family's property in the late 1990s. She is currently the business manager there and has a hands-on role in the running of the property. Nicole has a Master of Letters in creative writing and her novels, poetry, travel and genealogy articles have been published in Australia, Germany, America and Singapore. She is the author of three bestselling novels: The Bark Cutters, A Changing Land, which also features Sarah Gordon, and Absolution Creek. Margareta Osborn is a fifth-generation farmer who has lived and worked on the land all her life. She also writes about it in the Gippsland Country Life magazine. Home is the beautiful Macalister Valley of East Gippsland where, with her husband and three children, she spends many hours in the mountains in which her novels are set. Bella's Run is her first novel. Her second, Hope's Road, will be available in March 2013. She is also the author of a festive ebook novella, A Bush Christmas. Rachael Herron lives in California. She writes the popular website Yarnagogo.com, which gets over a hundred thousand readers a month. She has been knitting since she was five years old, and is known among her friends as simply 'The Knitter'. Rachael's mother was born and raised in New Zealand, and Cade's ranch in the novels was based on a New Zealand farm Rachael visited as a child. She is the author of four novels: Eliza's Gift, Lucy's Kiss, Naomi's Wish and Cora's Heart (available March 2013).
