About the author (1997)

Brian Hennessy joined the Australian regular army at age 19 and did one tour of duty in Vietnam. After being discharged from the army he held a number of unskilled positions but finally qualified as a teacher with qualifications in psychology and special education. He has also worked with Veterans Affairs.
