This book is NOT, NOT, NOT, NOT by Sir George Buc(k). It is by his great-nephew, George Buck, who presumably stole his great-uncle's papers on his death. He made three copies of it, changing it increasingly as he gave each copy to a potential patron. He did this with others of his great-uncle's works as well. In 1923 this book of his (which, incidentally, was published not in 1646 but in 1647 - the 1647 is a REISSUE, NOT A NEW EDITION). was described in print as "almost useless". And it is. I wish people would stop using it, which presumably they do because it is cheaper than my edition of the original.. Arthur Kincaid
