In a century where being busy is worn as a badge of honour, it's a feat to even find time to host friends for a home cooked meal. The last thing you want to do is spend all night fussing in the kitchen. Let the Three Wise Women lead you. In an effort to empower all home cooks, Annabelle Chapple has spent a year rigorously testing her three grandmothers' most outstanding recipes and soaking up their immense knowledge in the kitchen. These recipes are foolproof, most can be made ahead of time and all are guaranteed to delight the diner. ANNABELLE CHAPPLE is a former television news journalist and producer turned food writer, restaurant critic and cooking teacher.

I bought this as a gift for a relative at Christmas - I should have bought more as this was the present everyone was talking about and wanted to read! Simple recipes that taste delicious. I also love the tips throughout the book.
