Jean Donaldson is the author of the classic dog-training book The Culture Clash. A three-time winner of the Dog Writers Association of America's Maxwell Award, she is the founder of the Academy for Dog Trainers at the San Francisco Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals, which has gained a reputation as the equivalent of Harvard for dog trainers and behavior counselors.
