Glorify the Lord by Your LIfe: Catholic Social Teaching and the Liturgy

Front Cover
Liturgy Training Publications, Jul 6, 2020 - Religion - 96 pages
Catholic social teaching provides an interpretation of the Gospel for assessing contemporary social, political, and economic challenges. These teachings guide the Catholic application of Jesus' teachings in the here and now, helping us respond to issues such as racism, poverty, and violence. Participating in the liturgy is the primary way Catholics receive the Gospel message. This resource provides a unique approach for understanding the important connection between the liturgy and the seven key themes of Catholic social teaching. It will inspire you to deepen your relationship with God and with others, become more aware of the needs of the world, and recommit yourself to live as Christ's disciple in the world. Book jacket.
