Bakker makes compelling arguments concerning ideas such as dinosaurs being warm blooded and covered in feathers which were controversial in the 80's but have largely been accepted today. A good read. Read full review

About the author (1996)

Dr. Robert T. Bakker is one of the most respected vertebrate paleontologists in the world. He is often credited with starting the "Dinosaur Renaissance." He lives in Boulder, Colorado.
Luis V. Rey's dinosaur paintings can be seen in museums throughout the world. His book "Extreme Dinosaurs" received a 2001 Parent's Choice Gold Award. He lives in London, England.
