This is the story of a boy born during the depression. Of his being ashamed of being raised by two different sets of Aunts and Uncles for twelve years. Moving from his home town, just as he was starting school, to Philadelphia and being on welfare those six years. Then returning to his home town and the work he did the last six years of school to earn money for his keep and future life.

About the author (2010)

Though the author has never had works published before he wrote this book he has had three published since. He did grow up during the Depression and did serve three years in the Military two of them in Europe during WW2. He has had that experience.

He has written several books of Poems for his children which he never had published.

Though this is a part fiction novel, he would challenge you to decide after reading it if there is any truth in the novel or what part is the truth. Most true stories do have some fiction in them as some fiction novels have some truth in them. Does this one? If you like to read fiction or true stories he is sure that you will enjoy this book. He is sure that you have never read a book like this one. If the truth was know he would wager that at times you had a hard time putting the book down.
