It gives amazing insight into contemporary African American social behavior. It explains about underlying causes and origins of black on black crime, the problem of black color bias etc. You learn about slavery negative on African Americans and how it's lasting scars affect how blacks interact among themselves and react to the world around. them.Must reading should be on everyone's bookshelves next to Black history texts.
