Although this book has demonstrated in compelling manner the bad side of globalization, however the author has reduced the difficulties encountered by many countries to globalization, giving the impression that this phenomenon is the root cause of everything that doesn’t work. The weakness of this book lies on the fact that the author didn’t take into account other factors that are in play. It is this reductionist vision that should be criticized in this book. Overall, this is an interesting book, well-written and well-researched with comparative methodology. I have to say, this book need to be read by those who like to understand the changes brought by the twenty first century.
