About the author (2010)

S. P. SINGH (PhD) is Professor, Department of Human Biology, Punjabi University, Patiala. Having an academic experience of around three decades, Dr. Singh has attained an expertise in anthropometric measurements and in determining human health, obesity and child growth. Dr. Singh has presented/published 110 research papers in national and international conferences and journals. He has authored 6 books.

PROMILA MEHTA (PhD) is Professor and Head, Department of Human Biology, Punjabi University, Patiala. She has authored 2 books and has presented/published 65 research papers in the field. Dr. Promila Mehta’s areas of interests are human genetics and anthropometry.
