Robert L. Allen is currently the senior minister of First United Methodist Church in Wichita Falls, Texas. The author of four other CSS books, Allen previously served for 15 years as the senior minister of Wesley United Methodist Church in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. While at Wesley, he developed a television ministry that reaches throughout Oklahoma and into three other states. Allen holds a D.Min. degree from Drew University, where his dissertation was on the religious use of television.
