About the author (2000)

Verlyn D. Verbrugge was a longtime Zondervan editor, author, teaching pastor, and New Testament scholar. He specialized in areas of New Testament studies and Biblical Greek. He edited more than 700 books and resources. Verbrugge also wrote several Zondervan academic titles, including The New International Dictionary of the New Testament Theology: Abridged Edition and Devotions on the Greek New Testament, which he co-edited with J. Scott Duvall. His most recent book, Paul and Money: A Biblical and Theological Analysis of the Apostle's Teachings and Practices, co-written with his former Ph.D. student Keith Krell, was released two days after his death. He died on June 21, 2015.
