OMNISCIENCE OF CHRIST.

3. If one being only is acquainted with the hearts of all men, who is that being?

4. If now it can be shown that Jesus Christ knows the hearts of men, what must he be? 5. Repeat Rev. 2: 23.

6. Whose language is that? Rev. 1: 12, 13, 18. 7. What is written John 2: 24, 25. Matt. 9: 3, 4?

8. What argument is furnished from the references to the last three questions, for the Divinity of Christ?

9. What attribute does Christ allow to be attributed to him in John 16: 30. 21: 17?

10. If he had not possessed that attribute, what would he probably have done on those occasions?

11. What may be inferred from the fact that Christ did not rebuke them, nor make any attempt to correct their opinion?

LESSON XIX.

WORKS OF CHRIST.

1. Who created the world? Gen. 1: 1. Acts 14: 15.

2. Is not creation ascribed to Christ? John 1: 3. Col. 1: 15, 16. Heb. 1: 10. Compare with Ps. 102: 25.

3. Here the same work is ascribed to God, and to Christ;-what does that teach us respecting the true character of Christ?

4. Are the works of creation referred to as being truly the works of God? Ps. 8: 3, 4. 19: 1. Isa. 44: 24. Jer. 10: 11, 12.

5. If they were the works of a being inferior to God, would there not be an impropriety in speaking of them as the references to the last question do?

6. If creation is the work of an inferior being, these references are calculated to mislead us;-can you tell why?

7. Why are the heathen without excuse for not worshipping God? Rom. 1: 20.

8 Could such language be used, if the creation of the world was not the work of God, but of some subordinate being?

DIVINE TITLES AND WORSHIP OF CHRIST.

2. How may we know that "the Word" refers to Christ? John 1: 10-12, 14.

3. Besides, is not Christ called "Word" repeatedly in the writings of John? 1 John 1: 1, 2. Rev. 19: 13.

4. What is written Rom. 9: 5?

5. What is meant by "concerning the flesh?" 6. Does not that imply that Christ possessed another nature?

7. How is that other nature expressed in the latter part of the verse?

10. If Christ were a created, finite being, would such language be appropriate to him?

11. Who is the only Being worthy of divine worship? Exod. 20: 3-5. Ps. 62: 5. Matt. 4: 10.

12. If we worship any other being, of what sin are we guilty?
