The Great Forgetting

In this collection of poetry, poet Geoff Page and artist Pooaraar combine their significant talents in an effort to end 'the great forgetting'. The poetry and illustrations illuminate the forgotten story of Australia in the last 200 years, the story of the interaction of Aboriginal and non-Aboriginal people. This book encompasses the brutality, arrogance, honest misunderstandings, occasional decencies and continuing unresolved problems of this story.
