Characterization of Catalytic MaterialsIsrael E. Wachs, the volume Editor, is Professor of Chemical Engineering at Lehigh University and Director of the Vibrational Spectroscopy Laboratory in the Zettlemoyer Center for Surface Studies. Professor Wachs has done importnat research in heterogeneous catalysis while at Lehigh and, earlier, as a staff member of Exxon Research.
