Note on distribution of certain species of ticks in Africa from information
given by Mr. Harold H. King who brought in the specimens to examine.
He stated that:

Rhipicephalus evertsi occurs on elephant at Taufikia

(Upper White Nile Province and at Tonga (U.W. Nile).

Haema physalis leachi occurs on hedgehogs and dogs at Taufikia.
(v. supra) Roseires (Blue Nile Province) and at Khartoum,
Aponomma laeve occurs on lizards at Taufikia (v. supra)
Prob? Amblyomma variegatum N's on lizard, Taufikia.
