COUNTER INSURGENCY: Jesus in the local church !Jesus is the Head of The Church… all the saints of God. The sacrifice of Jesus on the Cross and His subsequent resurrection, wrought victory over the devil’s works, so there is now, no greater authority than that of Jesus Christ. However, when the authority of Jesus or the integrity of Scripture is compromised within local Christian churches, opposing evil spirits will take advantage. Given access, the devil’s cohort moves into local Christian churches. These spirits lie and deceive, bringing seductive temptations to influence the thinking of vulnerable Christians and those in church who are unsaved. Strife, corruption and division is the purpose of the devil’s insurgent maneuvers. Counter insurgency measures restore the Lordship of Jesus Christ and ministry of the Holy Spirit to local Christian churches. Where the Spirit of the Lord Jesus is, there is liberty, and peace reigns. |
