About the author (2014)

The author team have a wealth of Philosophy teaching experience between them. They have published seven titles for Hodder in the Philosophy in Focus series.


Dan Cardinal has been a Philosophy teacher and lecturer for over 20 years. He currently teaches at the University of Kent, Canterbury.

Jeremy Hayward has taught Philosophy since 1994. For the last decade he has been lecturing in Education at the Institute of Education, London.

Gerald Jones began teaching Philosophy in 1990. He is currently Head of Adult Education for the London borough of Ealing.
