374-378. Ticks brought 31.III.1908 by Mrs. Zelia Nuttall from Mexico,
where they were collected by Mr. Horace Levesley at Santa Lucrezia,
Isthmus of Tehuantepec 1-15.II.1908; - "Some (fat ones) collected from
horses, others from man; the starved ones from the weeds." Considered
to be 4 different kinds; the native names being on the 4 bottles. Only
the larvae arrived alive (377) bottle damp inside; ticks placed, after
washing, in 70% spirit:
