About the author (2024)

Elizabeth Hansen writes from Michigan, where she and her husband raise their four school-aged children. From the time her oldest child was a toddler, Elizabeth has been involved with various parish-based ministries for families and women, whether starting playgroups in the church basement, leading women's book clubs, or organizing social events for parish families based on the liturgical year. She also spends her time volunteering with Catholic Charities refugee resettlement and serving as a catechist for Catechesis of the Good Shepherd. Her writing has appeared in many Catholic and Christian publications both online and in print, such as Magnificat, Columbia Magazine, the Grotto Network, Plough, FemCatholic.com, and FAITH Magazine.
