About the Author

Heather Goodall is currently lecturing in Applied History at the University of Technology, Sydney.

Andrew Jakubowicz has a PhD in Sociology and has worked at universities in Australia and the UK. He has lectured at the University of Technology, Sydney, where he was head of the Humanities School from 1991 to 1994.

Jeannie Martin is lecturer in the School of Humanities, University of Technology, Sydney.

Tony Mitchell received an MA in English from Auckland University and a PhD in Drama from Bristol, and is currently senior lecturer in Performance and Cultural Studies at the University of Technology, Sydney.

Lois Randall is a media researcher/policy advisor and has lectured in all aspects of video production at AFTRS, UWS and Metro TV.

Kalinga Seneviratne has been broadcasting with Radio 2SER-FM for over 13 years. He has been a part-time researcher, lecturer and tutor at the University of Technology, Sydney for the last four years.
