Once there was a curious little girl, and her name was Matilda. Life at home wasn't always so great for Matilda. Her parents didn't even want her so she took refuge in her books. Matilda was soon ready to go to school! There she met her lovely teacher, Miss Honey. She also met her terrifying principal, Miss Trunchbull. Matilda found a way to stop the Trunchbull from destroying the students body. How does she do it? READ Matilda!

I love this classic story. I have owned this book since I was a little girl. I would love reaching for this book off of my shelf at home. It's an easy read and it is filled with awesome illustrations! I highly recommend this book!

I would possibly do a lit circle with Roald Dahl's books. Then the students who chose his different books could come together and compare/contrast his books. They will love his excellent writing! GOOD read!
