This is a fantastic book. It had me smiling from ear to ear throughout. This extraordinary little girl can do all these fantastic things and she makes you want to do more with your life. With all the mentions of Charles Dickens throughout this book, I feel like tackling some of those now. I mean if this 5 and a half year old can do it, I can mutter my way through, right? The humor is fantastic and you will love all the pranks Matilda plays on her parents. Miss Honey is also a very lovable character and I teared up a few times reading about her plight. Check this one out, great for kids and adults!
