really liked it

The story about a four years old girl her name Matilda. She is an extraordinarily gifted girl and her parents think she is a nuisance kid. Matilda's father, who cheats people, sell used cars and her mother addicted to play bingo. Matilda teaches herself to read, finds the public library, and discovers literature. By age five and a half, Matilda has read all the children's books in the library and quite a few of the adult ones as well.
Matilda is so excited to go to school. When she finally enrolls in Crunchem Hall Primary School she had to face Miss Trunchbull who is a fierce tyrannical monster. Matilda's teacher, Miss Honey, thinks Matilda is a brilliant academic genius. When she asks Miss Trunchbull to moves Matilda to six grade because she is so smart she accused her that she cannot control Matilda and she wants to get rid of her. Matilda uses her intelligence to revenge and teach her nasty parents and headmistress a lesson.
I think this a good book for ages 8-11. I liked how Matilda enjoys reading in early age. She does not like to watch TV with her family. Even if Matilda is sitting in her room alone all the morning until afternoons reading she travels around the world through books. I like this idea so children will understand that reading is enjoyable. I enjoyed reading this book and I think it is a good book it inspires children to the power of reading. However, I do not like the part when Matilda takes revenge from her parents, children should not take revenge from their parents.
