The book, in short, is too long. While the quality of Kahneman's writing and research is superior, he repeats himself frequently. Generally, it is a new experiment or a new paper that he wrote. However, it does not take long for you to realize that he is simply rehashing old ground throughout this 425+-page tome. If decision science and psychological statistics are your thing, then you will probably love this book. If you simply want to read a little about how your brain works when it comes to making decisions, you will want to look at shorter books like The Power of Habit by Charles Duhrigg or Blink by Malcolm Gladwell.
