Laura's excellent review of this amazing book reminded me that I think I have been able in a small way to internalize a little of the wisdom in this book. Tools are invaluable and Kahnemen gives us a ton of them and each one is backed up with an enormous list of experiments conducted over the last 50 years. It sounds like hype to say a book can be life changing these days but if any could qualify its this. He is not selling a life style but giving us a synthesis of the best acedemic work in psychology. Then suggesting ways both individuals and policy makers can do better.
