The eighth printing of this multivolume work bears a different cover and title page title: The Netter collection of medical illustrations. When new volumes were purchased to replace missing volumes in the Sturm Library, the new volumes were integrated into the original set which bears the title: The Ciba collection of medical illustrations
Publisher imprint varies on some of the volumes: "Commissioned and published by Novartis" instead of "Commissioned and published by CIBA."
The first edition was published in 1957; the second edition with supplement was published in 1964; the second printing of the second edition was printed in 1967; the third printing of second edition was printed in 1972. The Sturm Library has different printings for several of the volumes

The Netter collection was published by Novartis Pharmaceuticals Corporation, New Jersey
