Thinking, Fast and Slow

Informative, and interesting, but a difficult read for the lay person. The author provides many examples - puzzles and quiz questions - that trip one up in quick responses. He thus illustrates the frailty of what is commonly assumed to be 'intuition,' and the necessity for expenditure of energy in a careful evaluation of any decision scenario. Nevertheless, the author's System 1 and System 2 classification feels a bit too reductionist.
The book is written and edited very well. It is an excellent read for researchers into intuition and human psychology in general.
