it was ok

A thought provoking book by an distinguished scholar no doubt. For my taste it was a bit too clinical and so jam packed with details of intricate studies that made it more work for me than pleasure. So maybe my intellect was not up to the task, I will grant that. Building off his central thesis of fast and slow modes of thinking and evaluating mainly choices Kahneman explores numerous applications and results in life decisions and actions. At times I found nuggets of interest but much more often I found myself dozing off with the laborious analysis. Definitely thought provoking generally and certainly a lot of research went into the findings. I found myself asking do people really research this kind of stuff, and does it really matter? The title will lure in many in the genre of glibness such as Blink, Think, and Doze.
