This was the smarter, less accessible version of the book "Decisive" by the Heath brothers.

It covers ground that the Heaths didn't cover, but was a bit of a slog to get through. I'm glad I read it though. The examples provided did a great job of illustrating the concepts and displaying that many of us make decisions that aren't the best for us. I can't remember how many times I thought "of course that's the option I'd choose" only to read on and realize that the option did little for me.

One that stands out in particular was this one:

Would you accept a gamble that offers a 10% chance to win $95 and a 90% chance to lose $5?

Would you pay $5 to participate in a lottery that offers a 10% chance to win $100 and a 90% chance to win nothing?

I'd probably be up for the second option, but the first... wait, a second... those are the same.
