Thinking, Fast and Slow

I read somewhere that the author couldn't believe this book would become a best-seller. I agree.
The ideas presented in this book might be good and even eye-opener. But was it necessary so many pages and so many dry examples? Probably yes, according to the excellent feedback it got, but for me it was too much.
