"Management of natural resources via international collaboration has been proposed as an initiative for sustainable utilization of natural resources. In April 2009, a regional grouping of researchers from Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia (UKM), Universiti Malaysia Sarawak (UNIMAS) and Charles Darwin University (CDU) formed RIMBA (Research Innovation for Malaysia Peninsula, Borneo and Australia) to discuss and exchange ideas on innovative management of natural resource and its contributioin to the well-being of the people.
