I'm not really a fan of this book, this book is rather boring to me. The good teacher's (i forgot her name) background doesn't sound too tragic. I think she could've solved the problem without creating much fuss. The story is really slow, i know this is Roald Dahl's way of writing, but descriptive writing should't be used as much, because it really cuts out the interest of the reader.
